SharePoint and Teams


These are steps to follow when you can see a team on Teams but cannot see the site in SharePoint. This normally occurs when you have not visited the site in SharePoint. To ensure that the site is always visible you need to follow the site.

We will be adding ACF Communications under Following in SharePoint as an example.


On Teams

  • Choose the Team you need to see in SharePoint.
  • Select General
  • On the top right corner select the 3 horizontal dots
  • Select Open in SharePoint




When the SharePoint site opens, select Home



Click on the star next to Not Following.



Make sure that it changes to Following.



In SharePoint, the added site will be visible under Following.
